Not much has happened since the last post so I'll just add a few pictures.
Max working at his computer
Santa brought Max a "computer" for Christmas at our request. We had hoped that it would deter him from wanting to use Mommy and Daddy's. The decoy sometimes works, especially when we set it up on his desk and have him sit like a big boy in his special chair. I set up his computer in the living room this morning but, instead of playing with it, he went into his bedroom and sat in his chair (as if to say, "Not there, Mommy. Here"). He immediately began typing away when I put it on the desk in front of him.
The graphics on this computer are a bit like the old Apple "green screens." I wonder when he will notice that his laptop is an inferior model. :-)
A Happy Oreo Smile
Max had the pleasure, once again, while Grandpa Morse was here, to eat Oreos. It's amazing how, instinctually, he pulled the two halves apart and licked out the creme filling. After the grandparents left, we introduced him to dunking an Oreo in milk before eating it. Tim and I were a bit suspicious about how quickly he caught on. Grandpa?! Anyway, he made such a terrific mess of his face, due to the technique that he utilised to eat the quarter of the gooey oreo stuck to the palm of his hand. It seemed to be more of a smearing gesture than a licking one.
Max drinking a babycchino
I imagine this drink has made it around the world but I had never heard of it until we arrived in Brisbane (of course Max wasn't consuming much beyond breastmilk at that time). It is basically a little warm milk with a lot of froth and a dash of cocoa powder/sugar on top. Max loves it! It is a great idea for those parents who don't want to forego trips to the local cafe for a "quiet" cup of coffee on a Saturday morning. Max, unfortunately, downs his drink in no time and is ready to move on before I have sipped more than half of mine. Hence, we have started to make our lattes at home.

He is so big!!! I love the laptop. What a good idea. Belle loves to sneak over and push buttons on ours when we are not looking. I think we'll have to invest in one. How do you make your baby lattes? They sound good. We loved the pictures.
