Testing a video link to Youtube

Click here to view this video of Max.  It seems to work at times and not at others.  I may have to be signed into Youtube when you try to view it.  That's the only correlation that I've found.

Blocks

Tim and I have been making blocks out of milk and juice cartons for awhile now.  They are not the most stable building supplies but they also don't hurt when they fall on our feet.  We have enough now to build stuff like...

a well!  Max, his trains and his fire truck were all playing in this well.

A better pic

This picture shows the helmet/head accentuation a little better but I think a full body shot would be better.  Maybe in a later post...

Working and Playing

Maxwell received these overalls and cap from his Uncle Jim and Auntie Lee.  Now he can truly be a little engineer as he plays with his trains.  The overalls fit him perfectly right now so he gets plenty of wear out of them.  Thank you uncle and auntie!

This picture was taken before I washed them.  After a single washing, he doesn't have to roll the cuffs anymore.

Tim modified a bed frame so that Max's mattress would not sit so high off the ground.  Unfortunately, the headboard was not as stable anymore so Tim had to ask Max to fix the problem.  Max discovered (with a little help from Tim) that one of screws had broken off so, to fix it, Max had to redrill the hole at an angle and use a screw from Tim and my bed.  Max is very handy these days.
Max drilling the new hole.  He needed a little help getting the angle right.

Tim purchased a bike last week so we can finally use our chariot stroller behind a bicycle.  Both Max and Tim had to get helmets.
You gotta love seeing those little toddler bodies with the big helmet.  They already have a disproportionately large noggin and the helmet accentuates it.  Very cute.  The picture doesn't do justice to how big it looks on Max.
