Grandma & Grandpa Morse's Visit

Grandma and Grandpa Morse visited us for a month. I'll post a few pictures to show the highlights. It was great having them here and seeing them enjoy Max. Max loved having extra playmates this month!

Everyday we had Max give them kisses before his nap and bedtime. Today, after they left, I told him that it was nap time and that we needed to go get key-key (his monkey) and his pacifier. Max started making kissing noises while he looked for Grandma and Grandpa. So sweet. Mommy got a little teary-eyed over that one.

Getting his first "big boy" haircut (Max not Tim)

Building a Sandcastle with Grandpa (Noosa)

Viewpoint from Noosa National Park (we saw a koala in the wild there!)

But not this one...

Wombat at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane (I found that watching a wombat munch on grass is a bit like meditating...it definitely slows your mind...or maybe it's mindnumbing. Not sure. No offense, wally wombat, I really do like you)

Max discovers a love of milkshakes (especially in cups as large as his torso)

Feeding Daddy Ice Cream (Tim wore a "Hitler-esque" mustache after this shot)

Grandma and Max cuddling

I love pictures!  What did people do before they had cameras to document all of those precious moments in life?!  And then to have the instant gratification of the digital camera, to boot! Outstanding!

It was so hard to leave all of you and was so nice seeing the pictures that you posted. It was so sad to hear about Max and how he looked for us when it was time to take a nap. We miss you all soooo much. Love, Mom and Dad
