Emmanuel came over for a visit. Max is quite fond of him and his wife, Malia ("emah" and "mia"). He can't seem to say one name without the other. Max has also become fond of wearing hats.
Max's friend, Baxter, has come over for a few playdates recently. They really play well "together." Periodically, they will stop playing for a quick hug and kiss. Pretty cute.
Did I mention Max is fond of hats? He's wearing both his and Mommy's hats. I thought it was a particularly good look with the pacifier ("papaya") in his mouth. Max has been trying to distinguish between hats and hair lately. I'm pretty certain he knows the difference but he has a couple of Fisher Price Little People who have plastic hair. He points at that hair and says, "hat?" Fair enough. It certainly doesn't feel like hair.
I asked Max to get into his high chair for dinner. Not a big feat. He does this quite often. On this occasion, a bib was sitting on his high chair. When I brought his soup, he had put on his bib (as seen in photo above) and climbed into his high chair. I like the twisted cape look. Not effective as a bib but very heroic-looking nonetheless.
